Following is the factory car 2001 Nissan Maxima GXE :  

Following is the feedback picture : 

I purchased following Panel kit + harness for installing my Nissan :

The dash kit and the harness are workable in the Nissan car . The upper edge of the kit needs to be flared ,otherwise the head unit can not be installed on your dash .

On the other two sides I shouldn't have flared .  When I look at the photos, I see the gaps on both sides. 

there is no single GND wire on the original car , instead of using metal frame . Because the shelf in the kit is plastic, I just connected the ground to the Carjoying GND wire .

7 inch universal head unit also can be installed on following Nissan car :

How to test and check Mic issue for JOYING Android head unit?

When received Joying Android head unit, some customer will feedback that there is some problem of the mic, for example:
1) When make Bluetooth phone calls, why i can hear my friend's voice, but my friend can not hear my voice, just silence?
2) When make Bluetooth phone calls, why i can not hear my friend's voice, but my friend can hear my voice?

After testing and checking, finally found out that usually this is not the problem of JOYING head unit, also not the problem of the microphone, but other problem which is not related with the head unit.

So if you also meet such issue when use Joying Android head unit first time, do not worry, i hope you can follow below solution to have a check and test first, if still have problem, you can contact us by info@joyingauto.com  or support@joyingauto.com 

First case: When make Bluetooth phone calls, i can hear my friend's voice, but my friend can not hear my voice.

Example 1:

Herbert said "I wan to ask about the head unit.. it works very good everything is working except when i try call someone using bluetooth i can hear them but they cant hear me, is there a setting that i can change so they can hear me?"

After several time testing and checking, Herbert has solved this issue, because he find that he extend the usb and the mic socket. when remove the extension then it works fine

This is the picture of the usb and mic socket, pls do not use it.

Example 2:

Thiago said "Hi guys! I've bought a CRV head unit, received the rear camera and the multimedia stuff, everything is fine. Just a bit of a problem: the mic (for the bluetooth calls) doesn't work, neither the external nor the internal. I've taken the SUV to a seasoned professional, who did all the wiring and setups and everything. My only issue is realy the mic, we couldn't get it to work. I'm able to take incoming calls and I listen very fine the person whom I'm talking to, but he/she doesn't hear a single noise from me."

After several time testing and checking, Thiago has solved this issue, he found that there is some mistake on his mobile phone's configuration, as it can work good with other mobile phone, so hope you can try other mobile phone.

Example 3:
Ben said "i bout Joying 10.1 inch 6.1 android.its work good but i got problem whit the mic.when i call someone i can hear them but he cant hear me.i try to sovle it but nothnig work."

For this customer we have tried many times to do testing and checking, but none solution works, finally our engineer said hope he can open the head unit and show the mic antenna to us, he send the picture, we have a check, but still do not find out any problem, while Ben send an email to me that the mic works now, do not know why, but it works, we guess that he may unplug and plug the external mic:

When you want use external mic, pls make sure that you have connected the external mic well:

Second case: When make Bluetooth phone calls, i can not hear my friend's voice, but my friend can hear my voice.

Example 1:

Joe said: "So after buying a head unit for my explorer I fell in love with your product. They are so nice. I ended up getting another one for a different vehicle last week from amazon. Everything works great but the back up camera and the bluetooth when connected to my phone. The backup camera is not clear, the picture is distorted I thought it was interference from a power wire so I moved it and it still looks the same. The bluetooth audio works great but when Im making a call I cannot hear anything unless its turned all the way up. Then I can barely hear it and it is really scratchy. I turned up the bluetooth audio in the setting menu but it didnt change anything. is there anything else I can do or do I have a bad unit. It works perfect in the first head unit i bought. The one I just got was the JY-UMS02"

I ask Joe to check the speaker wire, to see if he connect the front speaker and rear speaker wire wrong.
Because when make Bluetooth phone calls, only front speaker have sound, rear speaker won't have sound, so if he connect front speaker and rear speaker wire wrong, then Joe won't hear any sound from his friends. After tried to check this, Joe said he indeed connect wrong speaker wire, finally solve this issue.

How To Learn And Set The Left Touch Screen Button Function ?

Sometimes when touch screen can not work or can not work properly when you receive the head unit, pls do not worry, that is not quality problems, just do as below, then this issue can be solved :-)

Customer's problem:

Thanks for getting back to me, I did get everything working...

But I am having an issue, the buttons on the left are not responsive. The power, home, volume, gps and back buttons. I have to tap them like 10 times to work once. I bought the device off of amazon just a few days ago.

Let me know what I can do or try.

Pls relearn the panel keys study as following steps:

First you need push "Clear" first, next need push for example the power button on the screen and then push power button on the left side, the same as other button like home, volume+/- etc
Last push the save button on the screen, for the details, pls check as below:

First find touch screen study in car settings (password is 3368 or 126 or 0000 )

Second pls click "ClEAR" first as below and then re-learning all the buttons

At last, after re-learning, you need click "SAVE" button, then will be ok:

Stereo looks nice and like factory fit for 2009 camry hybrid with jbl. Starts up instantly on car start. Jbl system works perfectly with Metra JBL amplifier. The play store allows to install new apps and home launcher. Octa core processor would be best, though speed is good enough.
