Following are different wire definition :
1) Key 1 and key 2 is for steering wheel control .
you need to connect the key 1 or key 2 or key 1 and key 2 with your original steering wheel control wire , GND (black wire ) should be connected as well .
2) "ILLUM" wire is for button light control wire .
you need to connect this "ILLUM " wire with your original car head light wire . Then button light works .
3) "back " wire offers power for your reverse camera .
4) "ACC" "BATT" "GND " wire is important on powering the head unit .
5)"ANT.CONT " wire offers power for your radio antenna .
6) brake wire no need to be connected . The function has been built-in the head unit .

Brilliant product. 5 stars.
VW Amarok radio head unit. Is great value and works perfectly. Better than original unit. Worth the purchase. Fits perfectly.
Very good unit
Installed one of these into a Golf V without a lot of experience. Have done a few stereo's before just not in VW's.
Once the dash was apart the unit went in very well, fitting snugly and all the wiring fitted just fine.
Everything worked when the unit powered up, including blutooth and wireless connectivity.
Only problem was the steering wheel controls which would not display the settings screen despite the CAN bus being wired in and working (door open display working).
In the end this didn't matter as the controls worked exactly as supposed to, just can't customise them.
Driving around with the unit was great, music and DAB radio working perfectly.
Came with iGo nav software already installed to local memory and it all worked well.
I would highly recommend this head unit to anyone wanting to upgrade their standard sound system for a reasonable price.
If you're planning to do it yourself then be prepared to deal with the dash components of your car.
It's easy to install the unit but an awefull experience getting to it.

Perfect fit for my Golf Mk6
I recieved my head unit in just over a week from China!
I was a little nervous about the quality when I ordered the unit, but I must say I am very happy with it. It took me around an hour to install and everything was just plug and play.
I highly recommend getting the plastic pry tools, I used them on the installation and it was completed with very little fuss and no damage to any plastic parts.
In my Golf I installed the GPS antenna directly above the air vents under the dashboard which gives excellent satellite reception without the antenna being seen.
There are some very minor spelling mistakes with the android phone and bluetooth app, but the software is very stable.
I am running Sygic as my prefered Nav software and it works without any issues.
Installation of Spotify from the AppStore worked perfectly and having spotify download the songs locally is perfect.
Sound quality is easily as good as the original VW head unit, bass is still very good.
My one major grief is with the radio app appearing to not support RDS for song title and artist, Radio names do come across.

Please noted :
After firmware update, pls follow below instructions to download the contacts (to avoid deleting your google contacts):
1. Go to Joying settings
2. Go to user/account
3. Click on your account name (email) and then click on "Account sync" just below account name, this will open a new menu.
4. There you can disable contacts sync option
5. After connected the "Bluetooth", please go "Contacts" of "Bluetooth" App to download the phone contacts.
Note: this update is only workable for Android 6.0 car radio with octa core CPU with 2GB RAM+32GB ROM . Please contact us if you are not clear your head unit system .
otherwise the head unit will be damaged .

Following is the video on how to update :1). Pls download the firmware from your windows system computer and unzip it.
2). Copy the unzipped files into an empty USB FAT32 or empty C10 32GB SD card.
3). Insert the USB into car radio USB port or SD card into unit GPS map slot, then the unit will update automatically.
4). During the update, please do not operate it and just wait it until the screen remind you to move SD card or USB.
5). The item will reboot automatically.
After you update the head unit, please note that below things.
1) Touch calibration again.
2) Remap touch button on the left side of front panel if your car stereo is full touch screen model.
3) Set canbus protocol again like the one as before update if your android car radio is BMW, W, Audi or Opel.
4) If your android car radio is without digital amplifier, please choose No amp; If your android car radio is with digital amplifier, please choose AMP (in).

Before you update the head unit, please backup all important things:
1) Copy maps from car stereo internal storage to SD card.
2) Go to settings-factory- enter password 3368- car model to check canbus protocol and record it.
3) Use a good quality SD card or USB to update it (format the SD card or USB as FAT32)
After you finish the update, you are required to do the below things:
1) Remap touch button on the front panel.
2) Touch calibration.
3) Enter the Car Settings application- go to the lower right tab (the one with the screwdriver) click on it and enter 3368- go to the AMP Enable option and turn it off-Go to the EQ menu (second lower tab from right to left) of the car settings and now have the keyboard pitch option. Note: If your android car radio is with digital amplifier, please choose AMP (in).
4) Go to radio settings, turn on two option: auto sens and RDS. If you hear background noise after searching radio station, please turn off stereo option.
5) If your android car radio is BMW, VW, Audi or Opel, you need to set canbus protocol again like the one as before update.
Note:
1) Fix OBD connection problem, the code of paring OBD is 1234.
2) After you update, you need to connect WiFi to activate carplay function. Only left side USB port has carplay function. if you want to use Android auto, please insatll android auto app from google play store, then connect android Phone via USB cable to left side USB port. Connect Bluetooth, and android auto function can work.
3) Optimize widgets usage.
4) Fix popping problem when you exit single app use.
5)If your car stereo is VW special model, front and parking sensor can work well after this update.
